Ok, so now that I have a grand total of 3 people following my blog I will now update more frequently.
Here's a question that was raised to me earlier this week. Let's look at Matthew 5:48. "Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect." So now the question... What does it mean to be perfect? What kind of perfection is Jesus looking for?

I think that Jesus is looking for perfection of the heart. I think HE wants us to strive to be perfect.

Dang! I just typed out 3 paragraphs of what I did today and accidentally deleted it all! It took me 20 minutes. But then this is Brent's Ruminitions and not mine. Oh, well I'll find something else to do, sitting in front of the computer for and hour probly isn't a good idea.

I don't quite know the answer to your question, but I do know that this book could be a good example of how we should act in our daily lives to glorify Him with our actions...

In His Steps by Charles M. Sheldon is a good book... It takes place in the 1890s...
